The team at Toyota Turkey was honored to receive the coveted TSM Award at the Total Service Management (TSM) Kaizen Forum held by Toyota Europe last month.

The award was presented to Toyota Turkey as a result of achieving the highest TSM Completion, with a 95% certification rate among all European countries.  Their completion rate is now the new target for all European markets, alongside the Best Practice methods that they have realized.

Kaizen is a Japanese term that refers to the practice of continuous improvement and is a key part of the Toyota Motor Corporation. It is awarded to companies who embrace the Kaizen model of focusing their efforts on small, continuous improvements which lead to positive results on a larger scale.

Ali Haydar Bozkurt, President & Chief Executive Officer, Abdul Latif Jameel Turkey, said, “I am incredibly proud of the team for their hard work and continuous improvement to deliver the best services to our customers, and it is an honor to be recognized alongside our European counterparts.  We believe that we will continue to work hard to make our operations more efficient and achieve new milestones by closely following the TSM process, which is the most important reflection on the “Kaizen” culture after sales.”

The latest award win comes quickly after Toyota Turkey received two major awards in June 2021 for their social responsibility ‘Mobilsen Ozgursun’ (Mobility Project), part of the global Start Your Impossible campaign which encourages everyone to take the first step towards achieving their dreams.  The team has picked up the ‘Best Reputation Management’ title from the Prida Awards, and the ‘Content Marketing Campaign’ trophy from the Social Media in Marketing Turkey Awards.  The local 360-degree campaign focused on Toyota Turkey’s transformation process into becoming a mobility company that offers equal freedom of movement for everyone.

Congratulations to everyone at Toyota Turkey for their outstanding work.
