Mouhannad Makhlouf, Director of Business Development at Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, grew up in Damascus, Syria, before immigrating to the United States. After studying for an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., he embarked on a 17-year career with some of the country’s leading Fortune 500 companies.
He returned to the Middle East in 2009, and now works in Abdul Latif Jameel’s Dubai offices, where he sees a family spirit and a willingness to recognize hard work as key factors in the group’s ability to attract some of the world’s leading talent.
