History in the making.  A Komatsu machine is one of many helping to create Qiddiya, a flagship giga-project set to become the capital of entertainment, sports and the arts in Saudi Arabia.

Located 40km from Riyadh, the mega-development covers an area of 334 square kilometers and Abdul Latif Jameel Machinery is working closely with Abdul Aali Ajmi Company, Shibh Al Jazira Contracting Company (SAJCO) and Al Assasat Al Watania, three of the main contractors, to supply a range of state of the art heavy machinery.

Qiddiya is being built around five cornerstones: Parks & Attractions, Sports & Wellness, Motion & Mobility, Arts & Culture and Nature & Environment. The ground-breaking ceremony took place in April 2018 and the first phase of development is expected to open in early 2023.
