June 2015’s newsletter from J-PAL takes a look at anti-poverty strategies that could benefit the world’s ultra-poor, (the approximately one billion people that live on less than $1.25 a day). The J-PAL research lab at MIT also launches a new ‘Government Partnership Initiative’  to expand work with the biggest players in social and development policy – governments – to design, evaluate, and scale up programs that aim to reduce poverty. GPI has been supported with a grant from Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives. Learn more about these stories here.
